MongoDB is our core database for the PSR group. Together with the Mongo Atlas services, MongoDB offers us simplicity to setup and maintanance. In addition to this, the document-oriented structure and the strong community behind it was a crucial factor that lead us to the decision of adopting MongoDB over relational databases.
